Catch o’ the ‘Bay: 1964 Bob Bruce

I’m a sucker for puns, so I think I’ve just decided to rename my eBay pickup posts to “Catch o’ the ‘Bay.” I’m not budging, so you’ll have to deal with it.

Anyways, I haven’t been seeking out too much on eBay lately, but I do try to keep track of my saved searches, if only to clear their feeds. I’d found a seller with several dozen 1964 Topps cards with cheap opening bids, so I submitted bids for about 15 of them. I only walked away with this #282 Bob Bruce, but I’m still happy to score it for 2 bucks including shipping.

If you’re one of the lucky souls who scored big off the cards I was watching, well – best of luck on that ’64 set.

As for Bob here, well he puts me another card closer to finishing off the ’64 Colt .45s, which I’ve managed to make some significant progress towards.
