Clearing out that draft folder after all! Quick lunchtime post today featuring a duo I snagged on eBay back in April.
I managed to land the base cards of Springer and Altuve from this recalled set on the cheap, which made me pretty darn happy at the time. Now I just need a Nolan Ryan base, and some pesky parallels.
Hey folks that went to the National – how much of this stuff is floating around card shows?
I'm sure there was some at the National, but I didn't see much of it. Topps had a pretty noticeable corporate presence at the National, though, so I don't think the vendors had the recalled product openly displayed on their tables.
