A Lightning Fast Trade

Time to knock out another quick trade recap post. This was an exchange with Justin, whose handle at TCDB is Lightningfan7609. I had a nice lovely pile of 2016 Topps and some other assorted dupes to send his way, and in exchange I picked up these.

No, I’m not working on a ’76 set, but I find myself loving it more and more as I look at the non-Astros cards (too much magenta!), and I could imagine putting it together someday. I have bigger fish to fry, though. Clines may be a TTM candidate – I’ve written him before, but it never hurts to pick up a nice card like this. The Carroll will likely be a TTM card as well.

The big score here, however, was the third and final card in the package: a 2018 Stadium Club red foil parallel of Alex Bregman celebrating his walkoff that finished Game 5 of the 2017 World Series.
