Belated: A Not Entirely Arbitrary PWE

This one’s close to two months overdue, so let’s write a post already! Here’s a nice little stack of cards that came in through an exchange with Brian, of Highly Subjective and Completely Arbitrary. You’ll notice that the post title says they aren’t entirely arbitrary – they’re all Astros after all, and there’s a card in here that I inquired about that instigated this mailing.

Ah, heck – let’s show it off now! A nice Chris Carter mini from 2015 Gypsy Queen. Brian was generous enough to share this one with me, as well as the following cards.

This Villar crosses off another need from 2014 Archives, a set of which I bought almost nothing.
Here’s a pair of parallels from Topps. Ok, so the ’79 Andujar is an O-Pee-Chee, making it awesome Canadian goodness and not a parallel, but that’s close enough, right? The X-Man makes my third Topps Gold from ’93.

Last, but not least, a pair of Topps Total cards. I still need a Jason Lane auto, so this one may head his direction. The Lance Berkman is a nice silver parallel, and parallels are always welcome.

Time to Total-ly close the book on this PWE. Sorry I let it sit in the drafts for so long, Brian!
